The MOBi (Mobile Wireless Internet Classroom) couples the technology of wireless computer carts with a transformable seating and working area.The MOBi will eliminate the costs associated with network and AC wiring and will allow any space indoors or outdoors to access the school's network within a range of hundreds of feet. The new Mobile Wireless Internet Classroom is small and light enough to be transported by one person and will integrate seating for twelve children and one instructor. It is engineered to store and charge up to 13 wireless mini-notebook computers and one instructor flat-panel monitor. The seating will transform to various classroom configurations for centralized, linear, or roundtable instruction.
